Hyundai and Kia share most of their key systems: flip keys with a chip on turn-key models and smart keys on push-to-start models. We make both at the car for most makes and models.

Security PIN code
Many Hyundai and Kia models need a security PIN code to program a new key. How it is obtained depends on the year and model, and we explain it on the call.
After a theft attempt
Some turn-key Hyundai and Kia models were targeted by thieves. If the ignition or steering column was damaged, a new ignition and keys can often be fitted at the car. See ignition repair.

- The work is done at the vehicle and tested in the door and the ignition before we leave.
We work on most years and models. If yours needs a dealer-only step, we tell you on the call, before anyone drives out. If all keys are lost, the person asking for the key should be able to show that the car is theirs (for example ID and registration or title).
Common questions
Can you make a Kia or Hyundai key with no original?
For most models, yes. Some years need a security code first, and we tell you on the call.
Someone broke my ignition. Can you fix it?
In many cases, yes. The ignition is repaired or replaced and keyed to new keys at the car. See ignition repair.
