With one working key, a second key is cut from it and programmed to the car. With no key left, the job becomes an all-keys-lost job, which takes longer. Making a spare today is the simplest way to avoid a lost-key day later.
Copy or program?

The blade is cut to match your key or the lock code, including laser-cut (high-security) keys.

- We come to the car.
- The work is done at the vehicle and tested in the door and the ignition before we leave.

Common questions
Why won't a hardware store copy start my car?
Most keys since the late 1990s have a transponder chip. A store copy may cut the metal only, so it opens the door but the engine will not start. The chip has to be cloned or programmed too.
Do I need to bring the car?
No. We come to the car, because the new key is programmed to the vehicle where it is parked.
How many spare keys should I have?
At least two working keys for every car. It is simpler and quicker to add a key than to replace the last one.
