Keys made at your vehicle
Many Nissans on the road today start with a push-button Intelligent Key, and older ones use a chip key or a remote head key. We tell you which one your car uses and make it at the car.
- Intelligent Key (push-to-start)
Proximity keys for Altima, Sentra, Rogue, Maxima, Murano and more.
Smart keys → - Chip and remote head keys
Turn-key Nissans with a chip in the key head.
Chip keys → - Emergency blade
The metal blade inside the Intelligent Key, cut to fit the door lock.
- Key will not turn
Older Nissans with a worn ignition or steering lock that binds.
Ignition repair →
Models we see most
Altima, Sentra, Versa, Rogue, Kicks, Murano, Pathfinder, Maxima, Frontier, Titan, Armada, Infiniti. Other years and models: call with the year, make and model.
Nissan security codes
Many Nissan and Infiniti models need a security PIN code before a new key can be programmed. How that code is obtained depends on the year and model, and we explain it on the call.
All Nissan keys lost
With no key at all, a new Intelligent Key or chip key can be made at the car for most models. If all keys are lost, the person asking for the key should be able to show that the car is theirs (for example ID and registration or title).
Nissan push-to-start keys, made where your car is
If you lost your Nissan Intelligent Key or want a second one, we come to the car: at home, at work or in a parking lot. The new key is programmed to your car on the spot, so there is no tow truck and no waiting days at the dealer. Most jobs take under an hour.
Spare key or all keys lost?
Adding a spare while one key still works is the simpler job. If every key is gone, see all car keys lost. Either way, call with the year and model and tell us if any key still works.
How it works
- Call or WhatsApp (956) 414-0903. Tell us the year, make and model, and where the car is.
- We come to the car.
- The work is done at the vehicle and tested in the door and the ignition before we leave.
We work on most years and models. If yours needs a dealer-only step, we tell you on the call, before anyone drives out. If all keys are lost, the person asking for the key should be able to show that the car is theirs (for example ID and registration or title).
Common questions
My Nissan says “No key detected”. What now?
Replace the battery in the Intelligent Key first, then try holding the key against the start button. If the car still does not see the key, it may need programming or replacement.
Can you make a Sentra key if I lost all keys?
For most Sentra years, yes. We confirm on the call, because some years need a security code first.
Can you make a spare Nissan Intelligent Key?
Yes, including newer push-to-start Nissan models. It is programmed at your car, usually in under an hour.
Do I need to tow my Nissan to get a new key?
No. We come to you and make the key where the car is parked.
