RAM, Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler use several key styles: chip keys on older models, the “Fobik” key that plugs into the dash, flip keys, and push-to-start smart keys. We cut and program them at the vehicle.

Newer models: security gateway
Many newer RAM, Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles have a security gateway in the wiring that adds a step before a key can be programmed. We plan for it before we drive out.
Jeep keys
Wrangler, Gladiator, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Compass keys are made at the vehicle, at home, at work or at the trailhead parking lot.
How it works
- Call or WhatsApp (956) 414-0903. Tell us the year, make and model, and where the car is.
- We come to the car.
- The work is done at the vehicle and tested in the door and the ignition before we leave.
We work on most years and models. If yours needs a dealer-only step, we tell you on the call, before anyone drives out. If all keys are lost, the person asking for the key should be able to show that the car is theirs (for example ID and registration or title).

Can you program a RAM 1500 key?
Yes, for most RAM 1500 years, including push-to-start models. Tell us the year and whether you have a working key.
What is a Fobik key?
It is the plastic key with buttons that plugs into a slot in the dash instead of a metal ignition key. It still has to be programmed to the vehicle.
