Toyota uses chip keys, remote head keys and push-to-start smart keys depending on the year and the trim. We find out which one your vehicle uses from the year, model and VIN, then cut and program it where the car is parked.

Toyota and Lexus smart keys
Many Toyota and Lexus smart keys can be programmed at the vehicle. Some newer smart key systems need extra steps or a dealer. Tell us the year and model and we say on the call.
Make a spare while you have a key
Toyota all-keys-lost jobs take longer than a spare. If you are down to one key, it is worth adding a second one now.
How it works

- We come to the car.
- The work is done at the vehicle and tested in the door and the ignition before we leave.
We work on most years and models. If yours needs a dealer-only step, we tell you on the call, before anyone drives out. If all keys are lost, the person asking for the key should be able to show that the car is theirs (for example ID and registration or title).
Common questions
Can you program a Toyota smart key?
Yes, for most push-to-start Toyota and Lexus models. Some newer systems need a dealer-only step, and we tell you on the call.
My Tacoma key is worn out. Can you cut a new one?
Yes. A worn key can be replaced with a new one cut to the lock and programmed to the truck.
